What you'll do

As an Engineering Technician at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the heartbeat of our data centers. Your responsibilities will include operating and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment, such as three-phase electrical systems, UPSs, and cooling systems. You will work closely with a diverse team of engineers to ensure that our facilities maintain an extraordinary uptime of 99.999%. Your hands-on approach will be essential in addressing any operational challenges that arise, and you will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes. You will also participate in routine maintenance and inspections, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. Your role will involve documenting issues and solutions, collaborating with team members to implement best practices, and supporting the overall mission of keeping our cloud infrastructure running smoothly.
