Google is seeking a Finance Manager for Data Center Acquisitions to provide financial insights and support business planning. You'll work with large datasets and coding languages such as SQL and Python. This role requires 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience. With 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or 8 years with an advanced degree, you are well-prepared for this role. You possess experience working with large datasets and coding languages, showcasing your database, automation, or business intelligence skills such as SQL, Python, R, JavaScript, Tableau, and Looker. You are comfortable taking initiative and directing work in an unstructured environment, adept at managing ambiguity while staying organized and detail-oriented. Your excellent communication and presentation skills enable you to craft and deliver messages that influence executive leadership.
Experience in dissecting complex problems and delivering insights is a plus, as is familiarity with renewable energy agreements and utility agreements. You thrive in fast-paced environments and have a knack for multi-tasking across various projects while maintaining a focus on details. Your ability to collaborate internally to support reporting on renewable energy purchases and consumption will be invaluable in this role.
As a Finance Manager in the Data Center Acquisitions, Energy and Sustainability function, you will lead financial and investigative insights to support the Energy and Location Strategy team at Google. Your work will involve modeling business scenarios and tracking performance metrics, ensuring that Google makes sound financial decisions. You will be responsible for building scalable tools and processes to enhance investigative efficiency and support data initiatives for portfolio performance scaling. Collaborating with various teams, you will assist in managing renewable energy agreements and utility agreements, providing critical insights that help shape strategic company decisions. Your role will require you to lead projects that dissect complex financial challenges and deliver actionable insights to leaders, ensuring that the company meets its financial and sustainability goals.
