Contracting Operations Specialist

Who you are

You have a strong background in operations, ideally with experience in supplier deal management or procurement processes. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills, allowing you to manage multiple tasks effectively. You are self-disciplined and proactive, always looking for ways to improve processes and reduce friction for business leaders. While not required, knowledge in the fintech industry is a plus, as is the ability to adapt to changing requirements. You have a builder's mindset and are willing to question assumptions and conventional wisdom, demonstrating a passion for creating new systems and solving problems through infrastructure and automation.

What you'll do

As a Contracting Operations Specialist at Stripe, you will play a crucial role in facilitating supplier deals with the Strategic Sourcing team and the business. You will help build an efficient supplier contracting process that minimizes risk and increases the velocity at which Stripe can engage key suppliers. Your responsibilities will include driving agreements through appropriate channels and providing a customized and guided user experience for stakeholders. You will work closely with the Procurement team to ensure that all supplier contracts are managed effectively and that best practices are followed throughout the contracting process. You will also collaborate with various teams, including Third Party Risk Management and Legal, to ensure compliance and mitigate risks associated with supplier agreements.
