About the Team

The Talent Acquisition team at Airwallex plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s future by sourcing and recruiting the brightest and most ambitious minds to drive our company forward. We collaborate with hiring managers and leadership teams to understand business needs and proactively find the right individuals who will contribute to our success. As trusted advisors, our team is passionate about building strong relationships with candidates and delivering a seamless recruiting experience that reflects Airwallex’s operating principles, dynamic culture and global ambitions.

What You’ll Do

We are looking for a Senior Executive Recruiter to be a strategic partner to our global leaders as we continue scaling our world-class talent bench. In this role, you’ll work closely with executives across Technology (Product, Engineering, and Design) and broader business functions to drive leadership hiring — from scoping and stakeholder alignment to sourcing and closing.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior executives to define leadership hiring needs, build candidate profiles, and craft sourcing strategies.
    Drive the end-to-end executive search process — from market mapping and engagement to offer negotiation and closing.

  • Lead and develop the Executive Recruiting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.

  • Use data insights to continuously improve team effectiveness, hiring velocity, and candidate quality.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing market intelligence and talent insights.
    Ensure a consistently positive and high-touch candidate experience.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and Legal to align on hiring strategies and priorities.

  • Contribute to scaling Airwallex’s leadership hiring practices globally through innovative tools, programs, and process improvements.

Who You Are

Minimum qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience recruiting for senior and executive-level roles (up to VP/C-suite), ideally within high-growth or global technology environments.

  • Proven experience leading or mentoring recruiters, with a focus on team development and process scalability.

  • Deep passion for recruitment and a strong sense of ownership over both candidate and stakeholder experience.

  • Ability to quickly ramp up on new domains and credibly engage senior-level talent.
    Demonstrated success closing candidates across diverse markets, functions, and seniority levels.

  • Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex global organizations.

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, inspiring trust and alignment at all levels.

  • Comfortable operating autonomously and driving measurable outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience hiring for Product, Engineering, or Design (PED) leadership roles.

  • Global search experience across multiple regions (APAC, EMEA, and the US).
