Carvana is seeking an Experienced Auto Painter to join their team in Framingham, MA. You'll be responsible for professional automotive painting, including blending and paint correcting vehicles. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive painting.
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive painting experience, demonstrating a high level of skill in various painting techniques including base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats. Your expertise extends to blending adjacent panels and correcting paint imperfections, ensuring that every vehicle meets the highest standards of quality. You are a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and are willing to work mandatory overtime to meet business needs. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English.
While not required, any additional certifications in automotive painting or related fields would be a plus. Experience with high-tech tools and equipment in automotive settings is also beneficial, as is a willingness to engage in ongoing training and skill development.
As an Experienced Auto Painter at Carvana, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting, applying paint using various techniques, and ensuring a flawless finish. You will work in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, utilizing state-of-the-art tools to achieve the best results. Your role will involve collaborating with other team members to ensure that all vehicles are painted to the highest standards and delivered on time. You will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices in automotive painting.
In addition to your painting duties, you will participate in training programs designed to enhance your skills and advance your career within the company. You will have the opportunity to mentor entry-level painters, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of our vehicles and the satisfaction of our customers.
