Who you are

You are an experienced Senior Enterprise Account Executive with a proven track record in driving sales within the public sector, particularly in the Intelligence Community. You possess an active clearance and understand the nuances of selling to government clients. Your ability to compress decision cycles and expand customer vision is second to none, and you thrive on identifying new opportunities while nurturing existing accounts. You are adept at managing complex sales cycles and presenting to C-level executives, ensuring that you communicate the value of Databricks' innovative solutions effectively.

You have a solution-based approach to selling, which allows you to create significant value for your customers. Your experience in early-stage companies has equipped you with the skills to navigate challenges and seize opportunities in a fast-paced environment. You are detail-oriented, tracking all customer interactions and forecasting in Salesforce to maintain a clear view of your pipeline and activity metrics. You are committed to ensuring 100% customer satisfaction and are always looking for ways to exceed your activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.

Desirable

Experience in the public sector or with enterprise sales in technology is a plus. Familiarity with cloud data platforms, particularly those powered by Apache Spark, will help you articulate the value proposition to potential clients. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to the success of your team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Databricks within a dedicated set of accounts in the Intelligence Community. You will manage complex sales cycles, presenting to C-level executives and closing net new logos while expanding existing accounts. Your focus will be on identifying and closing quick, small wins while also managing longer, more complex sales cycles. You will be expected to exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets, ensuring that you track all customer details, including use cases and purchase time frames, in Salesforce.

You will promote Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform, leveraging your understanding of the product to communicate its value effectively to public sector clients. Building a plan for success internally at Databricks and externally with your accounts will be crucial. You will prioritize opportunities and apply appropriate resources to ensure that you meet and exceed your goals. Your role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that customer needs are met and that you are positioned as a trusted advisor in the sales process.
