Flex is seeking a Senior Director of Compliance Governance & Operations to lead compliance efforts as the company scales. You'll oversee high-performing teams managing Compliance Management Systems and ensure legal compliance. This role requires extensive experience in compliance leadership.
You are a seasoned compliance leader with over 10 years of experience in compliance governance and operations within the FinTech sector. You have a proven track record of developing and implementing compliance frameworks that align with business objectives while ensuring regulatory adherence. Your strategic mindset allows you to navigate complex compliance landscapes and effectively communicate compliance priorities to senior leadership.
You possess strong leadership skills, having managed teams of compliance professionals and fostering a culture of compliance across organizations. You understand the importance of embedding compliance into the fabric of the company and are adept at setting clear priorities and expectations for your teams. Your experience includes overseeing Compliance Management Systems (CMS) and License & Exam Management (LEM), ensuring that these functions operate efficiently and effectively.
You are detail-oriented and have a strong analytical mindset, enabling you to assess compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable making decisions that impact the organization’s compliance posture. Your ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners is key to your success in this role.
Experience in a high-growth FinTech environment is a plus, as is familiarity with compliance regulations specific to financial services. You may also have experience with compliance technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
As the Senior Director of Compliance Governance & Operations at Flex, you will play a critical role in shaping the compliance strategy as the company scales. You will lead and mentor established teams responsible for managing the Compliance Management System and License & Exam Management, ensuring that they are equipped to meet the evolving needs of the business.
You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to align compliance initiatives with business objectives, providing insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making. Your role will involve representing the compliance function in senior forums, advocating for compliance priorities, and ensuring that compliance considerations are integrated into business planning processes.
You will oversee the execution of compliance programs, ensuring that they are implemented effectively and that teams are held accountable for their performance. You will also be responsible for monitoring compliance metrics and reporting on the effectiveness of compliance initiatives to senior leadership.
In addition, you will work to foster a culture of compliance throughout the organization, providing training and resources to employees at all levels. You will be instrumental in developing policies and procedures that reflect best practices in compliance governance and operations.
