LaunchDarkly is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their Feature Management team. You'll design and implement developer-first tooling while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires 5+ years of experience in building full stack web applications.
You have 5+ years of hands-on experience building full stack web applications — you've developed a strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering impactful solutions that enhance developer experiences. Your familiarity with TypeScript, React, Node, and Go is preferred, but your ability to understand developer workflows is what truly sets you apart. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with Product and Design teams to create cohesive, end-to-end developer experiences. You are passionate about mentoring peers in full-stack best practices and actively participate in architecture planning and code reviews. Your experience in a you-build-it-you-run-it culture means you are comfortable supporting applications in production, including being on-call when necessary.
Experience with additional frameworks or languages is a plus, as is a background in feature management or developer tooling. You are eager to represent the voice of the developer and influence the developer roadmap and experiential details. Your strong communication skills allow you to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at LaunchDarkly, you will be at the forefront of empowering developers with best-in-class controls and insights for managing software features. You will design and implement developer-first tooling such as MCP servers and browser toolbars, ensuring that these tools are seamlessly integrated into the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to create cohesive, end-to-end developer experiences that resonate with users. Your contributions will directly influence the developer roadmap, allowing you to represent the voice of the developer in all aspects of product development. You will actively participate in architecture planning, code reviews, and mentoring peers in full-stack best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.
