Google is seeking a Product Manager for their Distributed Cloud AI team to guide technical products from conception to launch. You'll work with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies. This role requires 5+ years of experience in product management.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role. Your background includes a strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, particularly in areas like Generative AI and large language models. You excel at influencing stakeholders across multiple teams and regions without direct authority, showcasing your excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex technical landscapes. Your communication skills, both written and verbal, allow you to distill complex concepts into clear product requirements, ensuring that all team members are aligned and informed.
A Master's degree in a technology or business-related field is preferred, as is experience managing the end-to-end product lifecycle. You are adaptable and excited to work on products that impact millions of users daily, demonstrating a commitment to user-centric design and development.
In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch, connecting the technical and business worlds. You will collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and marketers to develop technologies that improve access to information. Your responsibilities will include managing the product roadmap, conducting user research, and defining success metrics for your products. You will also be involved in A/B testing and competitive analysis to ensure that your products meet market needs and user expectations.
You will partner with various teams, including Engineering, UX, Business, and Legal, to deliver the Agentic AI platform, which includes developing an agent development kit and protocols for building autonomous systems. Your role will require you to break down complex problems into actionable steps that drive product development, ensuring that all aspects of the product lifecycle are managed effectively.
