What you'll do

As the Logistics Manager at Carvana, you will oversee the day-to-day transportation operations at the San Diego location, ensuring that all logistics needs are met in coordination with other site leaders. You will participate in developing site-specific goals and objectives, ensuring that they align with the overall operational strategy. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and evaluating daily route schedules, addressing any issues that arise, and working closely with the Logistics Operations Planning and Scheduling teams.

You will provide mentorship and accountability to your direct reports, focusing on their professional development through coaching and performance management. Ensuring that work areas meet or exceed applicable workplace safety standards will be a priority, as will maintaining yard cleanliness and conducting GEMBA walks to assess operational efficiency.

Effective communication with internal teams will be essential, as you will coordinate and monitor the movement of inventory through the warehouse workflow. You will evaluate and distribute work and assigned shifts to meet business needs, ensuring that all operations are executed efficiently and effectively.

What we offer

Carvana offers a competitive salary range of $68,640 to $84,000 annually, along with a full-time salary position that includes 100% company-paid medical for employees and family discounts.
