Block is seeking an Implementation & Onboarding Project Manager to manage the final stages of the sales funnel and drive onboarding processes for US merchants. This role requires strong project management skills and the ability to cultivate cross-functional relationships.
You have a strong background in project management, ideally with experience in onboarding processes and customer-facing roles. You understand the importance of guiding clients through complex journeys and ensuring they are set up for success with the product. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders is key to your success in this role. You are proactive in identifying obstacles and developing strategies to overcome them, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for all sellers. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with sales, account management, and engineering teams to drive results. You are adaptable and can manage both remote and onsite interactions with clients, ensuring that their needs are met throughout the onboarding process.
Experience in the financial technology sector or with similar platforms would be a plus. Familiarity with sales processes and customer success strategies can enhance your effectiveness in this role. A background in training or educating clients on product usage is also beneficial, as you will be responsible for ensuring sellers are well-informed and capable of leveraging the platform effectively.
In this role, you will manage the final stages of the sales funnel, working closely with US merchants to drive deals through to activation. You will be responsible for accelerating the onboarding process, ensuring that sellers are optimally scoped, educated, and trained. Your role will involve cultivating strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Engineering, and Product, to align on the seller journey and remove barriers to success. You will anticipate and resolve obstacles by managing stakeholder communications and developing scalable strategies that drive consistent outcomes. Additionally, you will be instrumental in documenting and tracking feature requests to inform future product roadmaps, ensuring that the onboarding experience continually improves.
