Overview

Google is seeking an Industry Head for Retail in Large Customer Sales to lead high-performance sales teams and drive client success. You'll leverage your expertise in advertising sales and digital marketing to collaborate with C-suite executives. This role requires 12 years of experience in the field.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 12 years of experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting, or media. With at least 6 years of experience in people management, you excel in leading high-performance sales teams and have a strong understanding of brand marketing and measurement. Your experience includes presenting to and collaborating with C-suite executives, ideally within the retail industry. You possess a deep knowledge of Google Ad Solutions, video advertising, and the competitive landscape across media advertising, focusing on achieving commercial results. You are passionate about sales and committed to maximizing customer success, acting like an owner and moving with velocity through change.

Desirable

Experience in managing and developing high-performance sales teams is a plus, as is a strong understanding of insights and analytics. You are adept at building trusted relationships with customers, uncovering their business needs, and translating them into powerful solutions to achieve ambitious goals. You thrive in collaborative environments and are skilled at fostering talent development within your team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a high-performing sales team, shaping the future of advertising in the AI era. You will collaborate with sellers to achieve growth goals and present Google advertising products and solutions that help clients meet their marketing objectives. Your responsibilities will include structuring a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and key clients, such as Expedia, and leading cross-functional teams within Google to drive client success. You will plan for and achieve growth goals through innovative and strategic approaches, ensuring that both Google and your customers achieve extraordinary outcomes.
