What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the system safety engineering efforts for Zoox's autonomous mobility solutions. You will work closely with the System Design and Mission Assurance (SDMA) team to construct and validate the safety case for our vehicles, ensuring they meet the necessary safety standards for deployment on public roads.

You will analyze field issues and collaborate with engineering teams to develop solutions that enhance the safety and reliability of our technology. Your role will involve conducting thorough assessments of system performance and identifying potential risks associated with autonomous operations. You will also be responsible for documenting safety processes and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
