CI&T is seeking a Mid-level Java/Kotlin Backend Developer to join their team in Brazil. You'll develop scalable backend solutions using Kotlin and Spring Boot, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. This role requires strong knowledge of AWS and modern web technologies.
You have a solid background in backend development, particularly with Java and Kotlin, and are comfortable working with frameworks like Spring Boot. Your experience includes developing and maintaining web applications using Node.js, React, and React Native, ensuring that you can contribute effectively to a diverse tech stack. You understand the importance of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, and have a knack for optimizing applications for scalability. You are familiar with testing cultures, including unit, load, and integration testing, and you appreciate the role of monitoring tools like DataDog in maintaining application health. Your communication skills are strong, allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a culture of innovation and efficiency.
While not required, familiarity with additional backend languages such as Python, GoLang, or TypeScript would be a plus. Experience with API management tools like Kong and understanding of JWT for secure token handling will enhance your contributions to the team.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing backend solutions that meet the needs of our clients in the Growth and Insurance sectors. You will work closely with your squad to ensure that the integration between systems is seamless and efficient. Your tasks will include enhancing existing monolithic applications and participating in the strategy for their evolution, ensuring that they remain robust and scalable. You will also promote a culture of testing within your team, as you will be working in an environment without dedicated QA resources. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and performance of our applications, and you will have the opportunity to work on innovative solutions that leverage AI and other cutting-edge technologies.
