You have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in hardware reliability and failure analysis. You understand the complexities of satellite systems and have a keen eye for identifying root causes of hardware failures. Your analytical skills enable you to implement effective corrective actions that enhance product reliability. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to achieve common goals. You are detail-oriented and possess a deep understanding of PCBAs and their performance metrics. As a Hardware Reliability Engineer for Starshield, you will perform detailed failure analysis of satellite hardware, identifying root causes of failures and implementing corrective actions. You will utilize design schematics, test equipment, and inspection processes to understand the physics of failures. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, software, and supply chain, to enhance the overall reliability of Starshield hardware. You will be responsible for developing and executing reliability tests, analyzing data, and providing recommendations for design improvements. You will also participate in design reviews and contribute to the development of reliability standards and best practices.
