About the Role
Title: Senior Business Development Manager, Transportation & Mobility
Reports to: VP, New Mobility
Location: Hybrid - Eastern Standard Timezone preferred
The Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for driving CharterUPs commercial growth across target verticals including enterprises, universities, airports, venues, and K–12 districts. This role blends strategic business development, full-cycle enterprise sales ownership, and solution design, serving as both a high-level individual contributor and trusted advisor. The Sr Business Development Manager identifies, advances, and closes complex opportunities - owning the full sales motion from first outreach through signed contract. While cross-functional collaboration remains critical, the core mandate of this role is to create pipeline, run point on deal strategy, and deliver revenue.
As an early member of the Mobility Technology team, this individual will partner directly with the VP of New Mobility to build the foundation of CharterUP’s enterprise go-to-market function. They will help shape repeatable sales processes, establish scalable deal execution frameworks, cultivate partnerships, and consistently close high-value enterprise contracts across multiple sectors.
