Vacasa is hiring a Property Caretaker to manage vacation rental properties, focusing on maintenance and guest relations. This entry-level role is based in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
You are someone who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and is passionate about providing exceptional service to guests and homeowners. You have a strong attention to detail and are proactive in identifying areas for improvement in property management. You possess a valid driver’s license and are at least 18 years of age, ready to take on the responsibilities of maintaining vacation rental properties.
You understand the importance of communication and are comfortable responding to guest and homeowner concerns through various channels. You are willing to perform light maintenance tasks and conduct regular inspections to ensure properties are in top condition. Your ability to work cross-functionally with team members will help drive efficiency and quality outcomes in property management.
As a Property Caretaker at Vacasa, you will support an assigned portfolio of vacation rental properties, assisting in daily operations and ensuring that all aspects of property management are handled effectively. You will identify areas for improvement and assist managers in enhancing processes to drive efficiency and quality outcomes. Your role will involve responding to escalated guest and homeowner concerns through emails, calls, and tickets, ensuring that all issues are addressed promptly and professionally.
You will perform light home maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, fixing door hinges, and unclogging toilets, to keep properties in excellent condition. Conducting regular inspections of the properties will be part of your responsibilities, allowing you to identify any maintenance needs before they become larger issues. You will also support the team in various capacities, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
Vacasa offers a competitive compensation of $18 per hour, with actual pay varying based on your skills, experience, education, and location. Additionally, eligible employees may receive up to $100 per month as a car allowance.
