Staff Product Manager

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within the technology or healthcare sectors — you understand how to define and drive complex product initiatives that align with business goals. Your strong product intuition and user empathy enable you to identify and solve valuable business problems effectively.

You possess a deep understanding of technical product development processes and can communicate effectively with engineering, data, and design teams — your ability to mentor peers and influence product practices helps raise the bar on quality and impact within the organization.

You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office collaboration with remote work — you thrive in team settings and enjoy engaging with senior business leaders to align on priorities and outcomes.

Desirable

Experience in health insurance or related fields would be a plus, as would familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools.

What you'll do

As a Staff Product Manager at Oscar, you will take on a senior individual contributor role responsible for leading complex product initiatives across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps and ensure alignment with strategic business objectives.

You will engage in deep user research to understand the needs and pain points of Oscar's members, translating insights into actionable product features that enhance user experience. Your role will involve prioritizing initiatives based on business impact and feasibility, ensuring that the product team delivers high-quality solutions.

You will act as a force multiplier within the product organization, mentoring peers and influencing best practices in product management — your leadership will help foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

You will report to the Sr. Director of Product Management and collaborate with senior business leaders to drive product strategy and execution. Your ability to navigate complex technical challenges and align stakeholders will be crucial to your success in this role.
