Job Description

As PLM BOM Manager you help refine PLM business processes and manage BOM configurations throughout the product life cycle. Your day to day is creation and execution of change orders which require cross functional communication across multiple time-zones. You promote best practices and enforce internal business processes for PLM change management by ensuring supporting data is provided for all changes. You are an individual who is highly responsive with ownership, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. You must be motivated to work in a data driven environment and are viewed as helpful and a key NPI product team member to release programs to mass production. The specialist contributes data into metrics for PLM Change control. You excel at execution of changes, but are highly invested in driving new process optimizations and streamlining processes.

Key job responsibilities
The PLM BOM Manager’s primary responsibilities include:
- Draft, Create, Route, and execute engineering changes, manufacturing changes, documentation changes, and deviations that support NPI and Sustaining production.
- Collaborate with HW Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Program Management, Packaging, other supporting functions in order to accurately structure new products and document product changes as part of the product development, continuous improvement, and sustaining engineering processes
- Manage the BOM fidelity by creating, routing, and releasing changes within PLM tools (Arena, Townsend, Windchill) at all levels of the product including SKU, Shipping BOM, Packaging BOM, Software BOM, Device BOM, Mechanical BOM, EE BOM, Operational BOM.
- Enable, enforce, improve, and execute eero PLM business processes
- Drive daily configuration meetings which interface with all key internal customers and in order to meet change control SLA.
- Establish product data governance standards and driving adoption of PLM best practices across engineering and operations teams
- Participate in Core Team Meetings as the BOM expert
- Manage the PLM tool and vendor - drive adoption of new features
- Lead the optimization and adoption of AI into the PLM processes
- Track implementation of changes at factory and supplier through reporting of PLM Metrics.
- Participate in continuous process improvements focused on business process efficiency, tools utilization, and metrics reporting
- Improve content for training and execute training for new teammates and suppliers in PLM processes
- Support ASIN/SKU/PartNumber creation through PLM and extended Amazon systems

About the team
The PLM team at eero is a small team that manages all BOM creation, BOM management, and Change Orders for eero products. eero has a strong culture that values good clean documentation and single source of truth for data. - 5+ years of change management experience
- 2+ years of supply chain experience
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- 2+ years of program or project management experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
