Mintel is hiring a Market Research Analyst to create market size data and insights for the India, Canada, and Australia markets. You'll conduct primary and secondary research, analyze consumer spending, and produce structured data for internal and external stakeholders.
You have a strong background in market research, ideally with experience in the FMCG sector. You are skilled in conducting secondary research and can identify and utilize various sources to determine market sizes. Your analytical skills allow you to interpret complex data and present it in structured formats for further analysis. You excel at building relationships with industry experts and conducting trade interviews to capture emerging trends and key insights. You are detail-oriented and ensure the accuracy and relevance of your research deliverables. You are eager to learn and grow within the organization, taking advantage of the comprehensive onboarding program and long-term career development opportunities.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting economic market research across 40 FMCG categories. You will identify and utilize secondary sources available in the local market to determine market sizes. Your findings will be mapped to present a clear brand landscape, which will be crucial for further analysis in a global context. You will build and maintain relationships with industry experts, conducting trade interviews to capture emerging trends and insights. Your work will support both internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring that Mintel remains at the forefront of market intelligence. You will also contribute to the development of Mintel’s Market Dynamics product by creating market size data and content that highlights key market data and emerging trends.
