Affirm is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead the Developer Productivity team focused on CI/CD and release management. You'll drive improvements in software delivery processes and enhance developer experience. This role requires expertise in CI/CD practices and team leadership.
You have over 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on developer productivity and CI/CD practices. Your background includes leading teams that enhance the software delivery lifecycle, ensuring that engineers can build and deploy software efficiently and safely. You possess a deep understanding of release management and have successfully implemented strategies that improve cycle time and reliability.
You are skilled in mentoring engineering leaders and fostering a culture of ownership and accountability within your teams. Your experience includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to build reliable and secure delivery systems that scale with organizational growth. You are passionate about improving developer experience and have a track record of reducing friction in build and deployment workflows.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and automation tools is a plus, as is familiarity with metrics that drive developer productivity. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are adept at navigating the complexities of software engineering processes.
