Stripe is hiring an Account Executive for their Startups team in Singapore to create partnerships with innovative startups in the Greater China region. You'll leverage your sales expertise to help these companies understand and utilize Stripe's financial infrastructure. This role requires strong communication skills in English and Mandarin.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the startup ecosystem, where you've successfully built relationships and closed deals. Your experience as either a founder or operator in a fast-scaling company gives you unique insights into the challenges startups face. You possess superior verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin, enabling you to effectively engage with clients from the Greater China region. You are knowledgeable about existing and developing payments technologies, which allows you to provide valuable insights to your clients. You thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about helping startups grow and succeed.
Experience working with financial infrastructure platforms or similar technologies is a plus. Familiarity with the startup ecosystem in Asia will help you navigate the unique challenges and opportunities present in this market. A strong network within the startup community can enhance your ability to identify and engage potential clients.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating partnerships between Stripe and the founders of the most innovative and fastest-growing startups in the Greater China region. You will identify new opportunities for startups to leverage Stripe’s growing product suite, thoroughly understanding their needs and advising them on how to maximize their growth potential. You will run the full sales cycle, from prospecting to onboarding, ensuring that clients realize revenue through Stripe’s solutions. Your role will involve collaborating closely with internal teams to provide tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of each startup. You will also be expected to stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position Stripe’s products in the market.
