Overview

Carvana is seeking a Mid-Level Auto Technician to perform light to medium automotive repairs. You'll work on various vehicle systems including radiators, timing belts, and climate control. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.

Who you are

You have a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience, demonstrating your ability to handle a variety of automotive issues with confidence. Your expertise includes performing general automotive repairs such as working on radiators, timing belts, alignments, and suspension systems. You are skilled in completing repairs for wheel bearings and axles, and you have experience with vehicle climate control repair and replacement for ACs and heater cores. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and are willing to work mandatory overtime when necessary to meet customer needs.

Desirable

While not required, having ASE certification or familiarity with state-of-the-art automotive tools will be advantageous in this role. You are eager to learn and grow within the company, taking advantage of training programs offered for entry-level positions to enhance your skills and career progression.

What you'll do

As a Mid-Level Auto Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing light to medium automotive repairs on a variety of vehicles. Your day-to-day tasks will include diagnosing and repairing issues related to radiators, timing belts, alignments, and suspension systems. You will also be tasked with completing repairs for wheel bearings and axles, ensuring that vehicles are safe and ready for customers. Additionally, you will handle vehicle climate control repairs, including AC and heater core replacements, contributing to the overall functionality and comfort of the vehicles.

You will work in one of Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers, utilizing state-of-the-art tools to ensure that repairs are completed efficiently and effectively. Your role will require you to collaborate with other technicians and team members to maintain a smooth workflow and meet customer expectations. You will also be expected to adhere to safety protocols and company policies while performing your duties.
