Job Description

Amazon Global Selling (AGS) has been helping individuals and businesses increase sales and reach new customers around the globe. Today, more than 50% of Amazon's total unit sales come from third-party selection. The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon's 18 overseas stores, and supporting local sellers' success and growth on Amazon. Our vision is to be the first choice for all types of Chinese business to go globally.

The Role

The Central Product & Program Management Office (PMO) collaborates with AGS business teams and many of Amazon's global teams to empower high-growth global selling, continuously uncover new opportunities, and spearhead new initiatives to drive seller growth and success. As AI becomes increasingly central to our seller experience strategy, we are building and scaling AI-powered products to transform how sellers interact with Amazon. We are looking for a talented, highly-organized, and self-motivated program operations manager to oversee and manage a portfolio of high-impact AI product initiatives. The program operations manager will play a critical role in formulating and implementing operational processes to support new AI product/program launches, reviewing existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement and streamline, and rolling out new tools to increase productivity and scale automation.

Key Responsibilities

* Define program objectives, scope, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders to pilot/scale new AI-driven business initiatives to sellers and support internal AI product rollout to AGS teams
* Develop and manage operational plans for AI product launches, coordinate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, data science, business teams) to ensure successful execution of program initiatives
* Analyze and solve operational barriers affecting AI product delivery, with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forward opportunities to enhance productivity and efficiency
* Monitor progress and performance metrics for AI products, gather seller and internal customer feedback, and derive insights to renovate existing processes or promptly implement enhancements to optimize AI product adoption
* Support AI fluency and awareness programs across the organization by coordinating training sessions, workshops, contests, and hands-on activities to equip internal employees with AI knowledge and drive adoption of AI tools
* Maintain clear communication channels with stakeholders to provide regular updates on AI program status, milestones, and key metrics

Personal Attributes and Competencies

* Have a track record of driving program success through seasoned project and operations management skills
* Possess strong problem-solving abilities, employing a methodical and structured approach to navigate complex challenges
* High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
* Excel in communication, effectively engaging with local and global stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration
* Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding our AI products, operations, and sellers
* Curiosity and willingness to learn about AI/ML technologies and their application to business problems
* Proven ability to successfully thrive in an ambiguous environment and changing market conditions
* Act like an owner, a strong team player, and ultimately focus on delivering results with high standards- 5+ years of experience in program/project management, business operations or related fields
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to interpret data to drive continuous improvements
- Impeccable attention to detail, passion for processes, systems/tools, and data analytics
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English
- Ability to manage, prioritize, and execute multiple projects methodically and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer obsession with a passion for working backwards from the needs of field or organizations
- Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment, to lead by influence and earn trust at all levels- Experience managing technology or AI product launches or rollouts
- Experience in e-Commerce and/or in a hi-tech B2B sales organization
- Familiarity with AI product concepts or experience using AI tools in a professional setting
- Master's degree in relevant fields
- Experience coordinating training programs or organizational learning initiatives
