You are comfortable participating in an on-call rotation and are committed to maintaining high safety and security standards in your work. You understand the importance of continual access to cloud services and are motivated to contribute to the success of AWS. You are adaptable and open to learning new skills as you grow in your role.

Desirable

Experience with cloud infrastructure or data center operations is a plus, as is familiarity with AWS services. A background in hardware repair or network diagnostics will help you excel in this position. What you'll do

As a Data Center Technician at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the heartbeat of our global cloud infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include performing in-depth hardware and network diagnostics, followed by physical repairs to ensure seamless data center operations. You will collaborate with a team of software, hardware, and network engineers to support all AWS data centers, ensuring that our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. You will be involved in troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise within the data center, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of our services. Your role will also require you to participate in an on-call rotation, providing support during critical incidents and ensuring that our infrastructure remains operational at all times. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain, and your contributions will directly impact the success of AWS.
