Contentful is hiring a Senior Manager of Web Development to define the technical vision and lead the implementation for Contentful.com. You'll work closely with stakeholders to align technical architecture with business goals. This role requires strong leadership and experience in web development.
You have over 5 years of experience in web development, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams. Your expertise in defining technical strategies and roadmaps has enabled you to successfully deliver impactful web projects. You excel at collaborating with cross-functional teams and translating business needs into technical requirements. Your strong analytical skills allow you to utilize data and user feedback to drive continuous improvement in web experiences. You are passionate about creating engaging and high-performing websites that meet user needs and business objectives.
Experience with Contentful's Composable Content Platform is a plus, as is familiarity with modern web technologies and frameworks. You have a knack for mentoring and developing talent within your team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
In this role, you will work directly with the Product Manager and Director of Web Marketing to set the technical vision for Contentful.com. You will lead the implementation of the website, ensuring it serves as a premier example of a marketing site built on the Contentful platform. Your responsibilities will include building and managing a globally-distributed web development team, overseeing the technical architecture, and ensuring alignment with business goals. You will define the technical roadmap and rollout plan, prioritizing initiatives that deliver user value and business impact. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will gather insights from external research and user feedback to inform technical and experience improvements. You will also oversee the maintenance and evolution of the website technology stack, ensuring high performance and reliability.
