Carvana is seeking a Mid-Level Auto Painter to join their team in Manville, NJ. You'll be responsible for matching and mixing paint colors and using water-based paint to paint vehicles. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive painting experience.
You have at least 3 years of professional automotive painting experience, demonstrating your ability to match and mix paint colors effectively. Your expertise in using water-based paint ensures high-quality finishes on vehicles, and you are familiar with working in paint booths. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and can adapt to the demands of the job, including mandatory overtime when necessary.
You understand the importance of using state-of-the-art tools and techniques in automotive painting, and you are eager to work in a high-tech environment like Carvana's Inspection Centers. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality make you a valuable asset to the team. You are also open to continuous learning and development, especially if you are starting in an entry-level position.
As a Mid-Level Auto Painter at Carvana, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting, which includes cleaning and masking areas that should not be painted. You will match and mix paint colors to ensure a perfect match with the vehicle's original color, applying your knowledge of color theory and paint application techniques.
