Esri is hiring a Senior Web Developer to design and implement integration between GIS data and BIM models. You'll work with technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, and REST APIs to enhance asset design and construction workflows. This role requires strong software engineering skills and experience in AEC integration.
You have 5+ years of experience in web development, particularly in integrating complex systems. Your background includes working with GIS and BIM technologies, and you understand the nuances of asset design and construction workflows. You are proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript, and you have experience building RESTful APIs that facilitate seamless data integration. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you are comfortable navigating complex regulatory landscapes in the AEC industry. You are passionate about creating user-focused applications that enhance collaboration among engineers, planners, and stakeholders.
Experience with Autodesk products such as Autodesk Docs and Autodesk Platform Services is a plus. Familiarity with geospatial data standards like IFC and 3D Tiles will set you apart. You are also knowledgeable about cloud-based systems and have a strong understanding of how to leverage them for effective data integration.
In this role, you will design and implement integration solutions between the ArcGIS geospatial cloud and various cloud-based BIM systems. You will develop public and internal RESTful APIs to ensure seamless communication between these platforms. Your work will involve creating TypeScript components and widgets that are compatible with ArcGIS Experience Builder, enhancing the user experience for clients in the AEC sector. You will collaborate closely with product owners and engineers to define the future of GIS-AEC integration, ensuring that the solutions you develop are reliable, secure, and scalable. You will also be responsible for automating geoprocessing tools to streamline data linking and management processes. Your contributions will directly impact how infrastructure projects are designed, built, and operated, making a significant difference in the industry.
