Description
The Cloud and Automation engineering team within Financing and Retail Services organization supports a wide variety of mobile and web apps used in Apple’s retail stores. The team is dedicated towards providing a world class experience to our end users by minimizing outages and by collaborating with product owners in an effective manner to understand user engagement on our app suites. We are looking for a software engineer with a curious mind and the energy and passion to build the next generation of Cloud and Automations tools and processes within our organization.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in Kubernetes
Proficient in navigating Linux based applications and networking protocols
Proficient in using logging tools like Splunk,Kibana to do analysis and create reports
Experience in automation scripting using Python and Shell
BS in CS or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in cloud vendors like AWS, GCP and AliCloud is a plus
Experience in programming languages like Java/ Go/ NodeJS/ Python is a plus
Experience in Kafka, Cassandra, Couchbase/Elastic search, Redis and other no sql databases is a plus
Experience in Observability frameworks like Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, Thanos, Cortex is a plus
Experience in troubleshooting Java applications in a production environment and presenting deep insights around JVM vitals is strongly desired.
