You have 3–5 years of experience in sales leadership, including at least 2 years leading a high-performing team — you've successfully driven sales strategies and executed plans that resulted in significant growth. You are skilled in connecting and collaborating with teams to shape goals and priorities, ensuring alignment across departments. Your experience in the food service or restaurant industry is a plus, as it gives you insight into the challenges and opportunities in this space. You are adaptable and open to feedback, always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are excited about the opportunity to redefine how the world enjoys affordable meals.
Experience in a startup or fast-growing company is highly desirable — you understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with scaling a new initiative. Familiarity with sales metrics and performance tracking tools will help you excel in this role. A background in the culinary or food delivery industry will give you an edge in understanding the market dynamics.
In this role, you will lead strategy and sales execution for the Meal Box initiative — your primary focus will be on acquiring key restaurant partners and driving the sales pipeline. You will define goals and lead the pipeline strategy, ensuring that your team is equipped to meet ambitious targets. Collaborating closely with the Affordable Meals team, you will refine the playbook for national scale, adapting strategies based on market feedback and performance data. You will also be responsible for team development, mentoring your team members to help them achieve their professional goals. Regular travel may be required for in-person collaboration, training, and team-building events, ensuring that you maintain strong relationships with your team and partners.
