SpaceX is hiring a Senior HVAC Technician to maintain and repair HVAC systems for the Starlink project. You'll ensure peak operating conditions for critical infrastructure. This role requires extensive experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
You are an experienced HVAC Technician with a strong background in maintaining and repairing HVAC systems. You have a deep understanding of air handlers, chilled water systems, condenser pumps, and cooling towers. Your expertise allows you to maintain preventative maintenance schedules effectively, ensuring that all systems operate at peak efficiency. You are familiar with regulations and safety standards set by OSHA, EPA, and NIOSH, and you prioritize compliance in all your work. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering teams to ensure that HVAC systems meet operational needs. You are detail-oriented and proactive in identifying potential issues before they escalate, contributing to a safe and efficient workplace.
As an HVAC Technician on the Starlink Facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing HVAC support equipment across various facilities systems. You will conduct regular inspections and perform preventative maintenance on building HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning optimally. Collaborating with engineering teams, you will address any issues that arise, ensuring that all systems are in peak operating condition. You will follow all regulations and appropriate SpaceX procedures, including quality policies and safety standards.
