What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager of the Content Generation team, you will lead a group of 5-6 developers, guiding them in building and maintaining robust AI models and content pipelines. You will collaborate closely with your Product Management peer to ensure that the team’s efforts align with user needs and company goals. Your role will involve overseeing the technical direction of projects, ensuring that they are executed efficiently and meet high-quality standards.

You will be responsible for managing communications with product and research teams, ensuring that Panopto stays at the forefront of advancements in Generative AI technology. You will facilitate regular team meetings, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews to help your team members grow. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, where team members feel empowered to share ideas and take ownership of their work.

You will also play a key role in strategic planning, helping to define the roadmap for the Content Generation team and identifying opportunities for improvement and expansion. Your insights will guide the team in tackling interesting technical challenges at scale, ultimately enhancing the user experience for learners.
