N26 is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to join their Anti-Financial Crime Compliance team. You'll be responsible for executing controls and testing activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. You have a strong background in compliance management, particularly in the financial sector, with experience in executing controls and assessments. You are skilled in preparing clear and high-quality reports, effectively communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders. You understand the importance of compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and you are adept at identifying gaps and ensuring effective remediation actions. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with various teams to enhance compliance processes and methodologies. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical skills, enabling you to assess control effectiveness and track remediation actions efficiently. You are committed to continuous improvement and are proactive in updating control plans and materials to align with best practices.
In this role, you will autonomously perform the MLRO controls on local Anti-Financial Crime processes, ensuring that all activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements. You will plan, design, and execute independent 2nd Line of Defence (2LoD) AFC controls and testing activities over local processes. Your responsibilities will include assessing control effectiveness, identifying gaps, and preparing clear control reports that communicate findings and quality expectations to relevant stakeholders. You will track and follow up on remediation actions to ensure timely and sustainable issue resolution. Additionally, you will contribute to internal governance and regulatory reporting, including the annual AFC internal control report. You will support the review and continuous improvement of the AFC control plan and methodologies, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration with other 2LoD stakeholders such as Risk and Internal Audit.
