Motional is seeking a Mid-Level Network Engineer to maintain and improve the IT infrastructure. You'll work with Cisco and Palo Alto systems, ensuring operational stability and efficiency. This role requires 2-4 years of experience in IT networking.
You have 2-4 years of experience in an IT networking role, demonstrating a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively. You can work independently with limited oversight, showcasing your problem-solving skills and initiative in reducing barriers within a diverse team environment. Your experience includes working with WAN, LAN, Firewall, and Wireless systems, with a particular emphasis on Cisco and Palo Alto solutions. You possess knowledge of network technologies such as SNMP, BGP, LACP, and 802.1q, which enables you to analyze and improve existing systems. You are adept at creating technical documentation and runbooks that help streamline incident resolution processes for your team.
In this role, you will be pivotal in maintaining the performance of Motional's network infrastructure. You will handle software patching, upgrades, and backup processes for all network devices, ensuring that the systems are up-to-date and secure. Your responsibilities will include providing global support for infrastructure operations, where you will interact with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve a variety of network-related issues.
