Cloudflare is hiring a Partner Solutions Engineer to drive technical sales and ensure customer success with their solutions. You'll work closely with clients to design fit-for-purpose solutions and leverage your technical expertise. This role requires strong communication skills and a background in technical sales.
You have a strong background in technical sales, ideally with 3-5 years of experience in a solutions engineering or pre-sales role. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your curiosity drives you to learn about new technologies and how they can benefit customers, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work closely with sales and engineering teams.
You are empathetic and understand the importance of building relationships with clients. You are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction and are skilled at identifying their needs and challenges. Your problem-solving abilities enable you to design tailored solutions that deliver real business value. You are also comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office collaboration with remote work.
Experience with Cloudflare products or similar technologies is a plus. Familiarity with networking concepts and internet security will enhance your ability to engage with clients effectively. A background in software development or IT can also be beneficial, as it allows you to understand the technical aspects of the solutions you will be selling.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the technical sales process for Cloudflare's solutions. You will work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and demonstrate how Cloudflare's offerings can meet their needs. Your role will involve conducting product demonstrations, creating technical presentations, and responding to RFPs. You will also collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that the solutions you propose are feasible and align with customer expectations.
You will engage with customers throughout the sales cycle, from initial discussions to post-sale support. Your ability to build rapport and trust with clients will be crucial in ensuring their success with Cloudflare's products. You will also gather feedback from customers to help inform product development and improve the overall customer experience.
