Overview

Samsara is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to drive sales in the public sector. You'll engage with mid-sized customers to promote IoT solutions that enhance operational efficiency. This role requires strong sales skills and the ability to negotiate with multiple stakeholders.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology sector, and are passionate about bringing innovative solutions to mid-sized customers. Your experience includes engaging with executives and CXOs, navigating complex sales processes, and managing multiple stakeholders effectively. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are motivated by the opportunity to make a real-world impact through technology. You understand the importance of the Internet of Things (IoT) in transforming industries and are excited to be part of this digital revolution.

Desirable

Experience in the public sector or with government clients is a plus, as is familiarity with sensor data and its applications in various industries. You are comfortable with high-value sales, typically ranging from $20k to $250k, and have a knack for building relationships that lead to long-term partnerships. You are adaptable and can pivot your approach based on customer needs and market trends.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Samsara's IoT solutions to mid-sized public sector customers. You will identify potential clients, conduct outreach, and build relationships that lead to successful sales. Your day-to-day activities will include conducting product demonstrations, managing the sales pipeline, and negotiating contracts with multiple stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure that customer feedback is integrated into our offerings. Your efforts will directly contribute to the growth of Samsara's business in the public sector, helping organizations improve their operations through actionable insights derived from IoT data.
