What you'll do

In this role, you will be part of the Infrastructure Platform Security team, where you will contribute to the security and compliance of Samsara's public cloud infrastructure. You will work on implementing secure-by-default configurations that reduce friction for product teams while ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will collaborate with other engineers to design and develop tools that enhance the security posture of the organization. Your responsibilities will include conducting security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending solutions to mitigate risks. You will also participate in incident response activities, helping to resolve security incidents and improve response strategies. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and share your knowledge of best practices in software development and security. Your contributions will directly impact the safety and efficiency of the physical operations that Samsara supports.
