Veracode is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee core accounting functions and ensure compliance with US GAAP. You'll manage financial reporting and revenue recognition processes, requiring strong technical accounting skills and experience in SaaS models.
You have a strong background in accounting with at least 5 years of experience, particularly in managing financial reporting and month-end close processes. Your expertise in US GAAP ensures that you can maintain compliance and accuracy in financial statements. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure proper revenue recognition and accounting practices. Your attention to detail and analytical skills allow you to prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations effectively.
Experience in SaaS or subscription-based models is essential, as you understand the unique challenges and requirements of revenue recognition in this sector. You are detail-oriented and can navigate complex accounting scenarios, ensuring that all financial schedules are accurate and timely. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including FP&A, Sales Ops, and Legal, makes you a valuable asset to the team.
You have a proactive approach to improving systems and processes, always looking for ways to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations. Familiarity with ASC 606 is a plus, as it will help you in reviewing contracts for proper revenue treatment. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to the evolving needs of a high-growth company like Veracode.
As the Accounting Manager at Veracode, you will manage and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring that all financial reporting is completed accurately and on time. You will prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules, maintaining compliance with US GAAP throughout. Your role will involve assisting in the review of contracts for proper revenue recognition treatment, ensuring that all revenue schedules are maintained accurately.
You will partner with FP&A, Sales Ops, and Legal teams to ensure proper revenue treatment across complex cybersecurity product offerings. Your oversight of accounts payable and general accounting operations will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of financial data. You will also be responsible for identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes that enhance the efficiency of accounting operations.
