What you'll do

As a Senior Design Researcher at Canonical, you will lead user research initiatives that inform product development across the company. You will develop user insights in various formats, ensuring that user needs are integrated into the design and development processes. Your role will involve collaborating closely with product teams to advocate for user-centered design and facilitate workshops that promote a culture of user research. You will also be responsible for analyzing research findings and presenting them to stakeholders to drive decision-making.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure that user insights are not only gathered but also acted upon throughout the product lifecycle. Your advocacy will help shape the direction of the User Science team as it evolves and expands its influence within Canonical. You will participate in strategic discussions and contribute to the development of best practices for user research within the organization.
