We are actively seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our dynamic reporting and analytics team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about data, demonstrates strong autonomy, and has deep expertise in the design, creation, and management of large and complex data pipelines.
Key job responsibilities
-Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes
-Create scalable data models and data architectures
-Drive best practices for data engineering, testing, and documentation
-Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance standards are met
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data-driven solutions
-Contribute to technical strategy and architectural decisions- 5+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
- Knowledge of distributed systems as it pertains to data storage and computing- Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
- Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)
- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
