SR iOS Engineer

Who you are

You have 4 years of iOS native mobile development experience — you've designed and implemented applications that are user-friendly and efficient, ensuring a seamless experience for users. Your strong hands-on experience with Swift and SwiftUI allows you to create high-quality applications that leverage the latest iOS features. You are familiar with data structures, system design, and design patterns, which helps you build scalable and maintainable applications. Your knowledge of API designs, MVP or MVVM architectures, and declarative UI principles enables you to contribute effectively to application architecture models and programming standards. You are proficient in Git and have a solid understanding of DevOps practices, which allows you to streamline development processes and improve collaboration within teams. A full-stack background is a huge plus, as it gives you a broader perspective on application development. If you have a background in journalism, it will be an added advantage, as it aligns with our culture of creativity and innovation.

Desirable

You have experience leveraging AI tooling to optimize and augment your day-to-day work — you understand how to use AI tools for drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. You can provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows, which is essential in our fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

As a Senior iOS Engineer at Wizeline, you will apply agile software development practices to define application architecture models and programming standards. You will design and implement processes for development, testing, monitoring, and change management while setting application development standards. Collaborating with product teams, you will manage technical scope and deliverables, identify strategic technical debt, and provide cost/benefit analysis and prioritization recommendations. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the applications you develop meet both user needs and business objectives. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.
