HelloFresh is seeking a People Technology Principal Functional Specialist to lead Workday Advanced Compensation initiatives. You'll leverage your expertise in compensation processes and Workday HCM to deliver scalable solutions. This role requires significant experience in the field.

Job Description

Who you are

You are an experienced People Technology Principal Functional Specialist with a strong background in Workday Advanced Compensation. You have a deep understanding of compensation processes, including merit, bonus, equity, and allowances, and possess hands-on capability in core HCM areas such as Staffing, Organizations, Business Processes, Security, and Reporting. You thrive in a collaborative environment, partnering closely with Compensation & Benefits, HR, Finance, and Legal teams to design and deliver compliant, data-driven solutions. Your expertise allows you to act as the principal subject matter expert in Workday, ensuring best practices are followed across the organization.

You have a proven track record of leading complex, global Compensation initiatives in Workday, such as annual merit, bonus, and equity cycles, as well as off-cycle adjustments. Your ability to translate reward strategies into scalable system solutions is unmatched, and you are comfortable owning the delivery of intricate Compensation projects. You are a thought leader in the HCM landscape, ensuring that HelloFresh maximizes the value of Workday globally.

Desirable

Experience with other modules within the Workday HCM suite is a plus, as is familiarity with data analytics tools that enhance decision-making processes. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies that can improve operational efficiency.

What you'll do

In this role, you will act as the principal subject matter expert in Workday Advanced Compensation, owning solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and governance. You will partner with senior stakeholders from Compensation & Benefits, HRBPs, and Finance to translate reward strategies into scalable system solutions. Leading complex, global Compensation initiatives in Workday will be a key responsibility, where you will manage annual merit, bonus, and equity cycles, as well as off-cycle adjustments. Your thought leadership will guide best practices across Workday HCM, ensuring that the organization remains compliant and efficient.

You will also be responsible for providing training and support to team members and stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is equipped to utilize Workday effectively. Your role will involve continuous improvement of compensation processes, leveraging data to drive decisions and enhance the employee experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the solutions you design align with the overall business strategy and objectives.
