What you'll do

As the Director of Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting at 2U, you will lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and stockholders’ equity disclosures. You will ensure that all financial results are accurate, complete, and timely, in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Your role will involve coordinating closely with the finance team to align financial reporting with internal management reporting and board deliverables. You will also support the company’s complex accounting areas, providing guidance and expertise on equity accounting and stock-based compensation administration. In this position, you will work cross-functionally with various departments, including finance, legal, and HR, to support strategic initiatives and ensure compliance in a dynamic private company environment.
