Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in machine learning and software engineering, with a strong foundation in developing and deploying ML models. Your expertise in Python and frameworks like TensorFlow and Keras allows you to build robust ML applications that drive business impact. You are comfortable working with cloud platforms such as AWS, and you understand the intricacies of deploying models in production environments. Your experience with Docker and containerization technologies enables you to create scalable and maintainable ML solutions. You have a solid understanding of SQL and data management, which helps you effectively handle and analyze large datasets. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. Desirable

Experience with real-time data processing and IoT applications is a plus, as is familiarity with MLOps practices for model monitoring and optimization. Knowledge of additional programming languages such as R or Julia can also be beneficial.

What you'll do

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Samsara, you will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end ML solutions that enhance the safety and efficiency of physical operations. You will also work on optimizing existing ML models and infrastructure, ensuring they perform efficiently at scale. You will participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in ML development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our product pillars, including Video-Based Safety and Vehicle Telematics.
