You are well-versed in cloud architectures and have experience with modern database technologies, particularly in AWS environments. You understand the importance of observability and have championed monitoring and alerting solutions in previous roles. You are passionate about leveraging open-source solutions and AI technologies to drive innovation in database management. What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the strategy, design, and implementation of automation capabilities for enterprise database platforms. You will own the roadmap for services including provisioning, lifecycle management, patching, and upgrade automation. Your responsibilities will include developing backup and recovery orchestration processes and implementing automated compliance controls to ensure data integrity and security. You will champion observability by delivering monitoring, alerting, logging, and performance visibility solutions across database environments, ensuring that all systems are running optimally.

You will partner closely with database engineering teams to build and evolve frameworks for standardized access control and least privilege automation. Your leadership will guide the team in adopting best practices and innovative approaches to database management, enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the technology team. You will also collaborate with other departments to align database strategies with broader business objectives, ensuring that technology solutions support the firm's goals.
