Site Reliability Engineer 3

Who you are

You have a strong background in site reliability engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in maintaining and optimizing production systems. Your expertise in AWS and cloud infrastructure allows you to ensure high availability and performance across services. You are proficient in Docker and Kubernetes, enabling you to manage containerized applications effectively. Your experience with Linux systems equips you to troubleshoot and optimize server performance. You are skilled in scripting and automation, particularly with Python, which helps you streamline processes and improve system reliability. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with DevOps, product, and engineering teams to implement best practices in site reliability. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and implementing solutions before they impact users.

Desirable

Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus or Grafana would be a plus. Familiarity with incident management and response processes is also desirable, as is knowledge of CI/CD pipelines. You understand the importance of capacity planning and can analyze system performance metrics to inform your decisions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning of all production systems and services. You will design and implement SRE practices that enhance the reliability of the Behavox platform. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant systems that can handle massive volumes of data. You will monitor system performance and respond to incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience. Your role will involve capacity planning to anticipate future needs and scaling systems accordingly. You will also contribute to the development of internal tools and processes that improve operational efficiency and reliability.
