You hold a Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Data Science, or Mathematics, and have at least 3 years of experience using analytics to tackle product or business challenges. Your coding skills in Python, R, and SQL are strong, allowing you to query databases and perform statistical analyses effectively. You may also have a PhD, which further enhances your analytical capabilities. With a minimum of 5 years of experience preferred, you are well-versed in advanced optimization techniques and high-dimensional statistics, making you a valuable asset in data-driven environments.
You thrive in collaborative settings, working alongside engineers, analysts, and product managers to develop innovative solutions that enhance Google's advertising products. Your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is a key strength. As a Senior Data Scientist at Google, you will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and improving a wide range of advertising products, including Search, Display, Apps, TV, and YouTube. You will engage in solving complex, non-routine analysis problems using advanced problem-solving methods and conducting thorough analyses that encompass data gathering, exploratory data analysis (EDA), model development, and delivering results to business partners and executives.

Google offers a competitive salary range for this full-time position, with a base salary between $141,000 and $202,000, in addition to bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
