You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with experience in the education sector or technology startups. You understand the importance of building relationships and can effectively communicate the value of innovative solutions to school districts. You are results-driven and thrive in a high-growth environment, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets. You possess excellent organizational skills, allowing you to manage multiple accounts and opportunities simultaneously. You are comfortable with travel, as this role requires up to 50% fieldwork. You are adaptable and can navigate the challenges of a fast-paced startup culture, always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes.
What you'll do
As an Account Executive at Edia, your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts. You will manage a portfolio of 100 target accounts, focusing on strategic outreach and high activity levels to secure meetings and close deals. You will be expected to generate a pipeline of new business opportunities, aiming for $800K in new pipeline each quarter. You will work closely with school districts to understand their needs and demonstrate how Edia's AI-driven solutions can enhance their educational outcomes. You will maintain a clean and accurate sales pipeline, ensuring that you have 10-20 active opportunities at any given time. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on customer needs and product offerings, contributing to the overall success of the company.
