You have a strong background in B2B/SME sales and business development, ideally within the shipping and logistics industry. You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and are not hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. Your analytical mindset allows you to be data-driven in your decision-making, constantly striving to understand metrics and industry trends. You are collaborative and possess excellent relationship management skills, ensuring positive experiences for your shipper accounts.
Experience in account management and strategy development is a plus. Familiarity with the shipping and logistics sector will help you navigate the complexities of this role effectively. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing landscapes.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key shipper accounts. You will develop individual account management strategies tailored to each shipper, ensuring that you deliver positive experiences and win business volume. Your responsibilities will include understanding and reinforcing the value proposition of Amazon's shipping services, creating joint business plans with shippers, and taking proactive measures on key business parameters such as operations, claims, and receivables. You will also analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth.
