Workato is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to develop data-driven solutions. You'll work with Java and Ruby on Rails to enhance enterprise orchestration capabilities. This role requires strong backend engineering experience and collaboration skills.
You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience, particularly in building scalable production systems. You’ve owned services from design through deployment and have a knack for debugging complex distributed systems issues. Your deep expertise in Java allows you to create high-performance applications that handle significant data loads efficiently. You also have experience with Ruby on Rails, which enhances your versatility in backend development. Good communication skills are essential for you, especially when collaborating with distributed international teams, and you possess an advanced level of English.
You stand out if you have experience designing usage and billing systems, as well as managing data-intensive infrastructure. Familiarity with data quality frameworks will also be beneficial in this role. Your ability to navigate complex workflows and drive efficiency will be key to your success at Workato.
As a Senior Backend Engineer at Workato, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services that support our enterprise orchestration platform.
